Austintown - Joyce I. Irwin, 76, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Joyce was born June 20, 1932 in Luthersburg, Pa., a daughter of Guy and Martha Jackson Galentine. She moved to Youngstown in 1954. She married James A. Irwin on Oct. 14, 1955,and worked at the Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries. Joyce leaves three daughters, Mary (Ralph) Vigarino of Boardman, Peggy (John Senich) Irwin of Youngstown and Brenda (Tom Sheehan) Irwin of Lakewood; one brother, Kenneth Galentine of Luthersburg; and five sisters, Mildred Bilsky of Dubois, Pa., Vivian Cathcart of Reynoldsville, Pa., Beverly Galentine of Grampion, Pa., Sylvia Thomas of Dubois and Martha Phillips of Florida; and five grandchildren, Ralph, Dominic, Tara, Steve and Dalton. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, James who died Dec. 10, 1993; three brothers, Gerald, Harold and Ronald Galentine; and her twin sister Joan Glasgow.
