Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Youngstown.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 8:oo p.m. on Wednesday evening at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

STRUTHERS-Josephine R. Hite, 91, passed away Saturday at Maplecrest Nursing Home in Struthers. Josephine was born in Altoona, PA, a daughter of Benedetto and Carrie Blasco Merciai on June 27, 1920. She married Gilbert Francis Hite and worked as a seamstress her entire life. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed helping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Josephine was the glue that held the family together and she will be greatly missed. Josephine leaves her two sons, Gilbert Hite and Joseph C. (Gayle) Hite both of Youngstown; three granddaughters Carrie Russell, Christina Adorno and Holly Moten and seven great grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert who died in May of 1957; one brother Paul and five sisters, Amelia, Iola, Emma, Julia and Mary.
