North Lima – A funeral  service will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 am at Clemente Funeral Home prior to a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am at Christ Our Savior / St. Nicholas Church both in Struthers, for Josephine F. Cabuno, 93, who died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Josephine was born February 13, 1921, in Struthers a daughter of Thomas and Julia Vespasian Bonafiglia. She lived in the area her entire life and graduated from Struthers High School. She married Michael E. Cabuno on June 27, 1944. She was member of Christ Our Savior/St. Nicholas Church, its Altar and Rosary Society, the church senior citizens, and  Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Club in Lowellville. Josephine was a loving mother, a  caring grandmother and a friend to many.  She was also an avid Steeler's fan.  She loved the staff and her friends at the Assumption Village. The family wishes to extend their appreciation for the care extended by Dr. Spratt and Dr. Hoffman. Josephine leaves her son Bill M. (Lori) Cabuno of Poland, three daughters JoAnn (Bill) Sweeney of Poland, Judy Wilson of Struthers, Patty (John) Drennen of Struthers, a daughter-in-law Debbie Cabuno of Virginia Beach, VA, a sister-in-law Marie Tiberio of Struthers, a brother-in-law Nick Cabuno of New Middletown, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, who died August 10, 1999, a son Michael Cabuno, and a son-in-law Gary Wilson. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
