Willoughby, Ohio – John J. Winwood, 54 passed away at the Maple Ridge Senior Living   on  Monday afternoon January 6, 2025.

John was born on November 27, 1970 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Joseph C. and Barbara Eyster Winwood.

He was a lifelong area resident and was a boiler maker for Local #744. He served in the Army where he was stationed in Hawaii, where he served as a helicopter re-fueler. He was a Jack of All Trades and could fix just about anything.

John leaves one son John Michael Winwood of Boardman, OH; two brothers Charles Winwood of Warren, OH and Joseph C. (Karen) Winwood of Girard, OH; four sisters Debra Bennett of Struthers, OH, Kim Luplow of Greenville, PA, Patty (Bob) Olesky of Austintown, OH and Carol Winwood of Brookfield, OH; also one grandchild John Michael Winwood, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Edward and  Michael  Yavorsky.

As per John's wishes there will be no calling hours or services.
