Surrounded by his family, Susan and Ray Wilson, his daughter and son-in-law, and his son John Lees, John Lees died November 30, 2009 at his home. John graduated from South High School and was hired by G.F. Business Equipment. Two years later he retired from G.F. as the Director of Industrial Relations for all G.F. plants located in North Carolina, Michigan and California. A historical museum was set up displaying antique G.F. furniture and John was instrumental in locating and installing rare pices, some of which are presently in the Smithsonian. He was an avid golfer all his life. He was the son of John Jessie Lees and had two brothers, David and Andrew who predeceased him. We have greatly appreciated the help and understanding that MVI Hospice has given us and request that any material tributes be sent to them.
