Struthers-A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at Christ Our Savior Parish / St. Nicholas Church in Struthers for John J. Creaturo, 90, who died Monday. John was born May 3, 1924, in Hillsville, PA, a son of John and Jenny Natale Creaturo. He served in the United States Army during World War II. John married Florina DeChellis on May 19, 1956. He worked 39 years as a tow motor operator at Carbon Brick Company and later at Duca Remanufacturing until he retired.  John was an active member of Christ Our Savior / St. Nicholas Church in Struthers where he served as an usher, and volunteered at the festival and Bingo for many years. John also was a member of the "Arby's Breakfast Club". John is survived by his wife Florina; his son David L. (Darlene) Creaturo of Charleston, SC; two grandsons David (Darcy) Creaturo and Christopher Creaturo, and two great grandchildren David and Leah Grace. John was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Mike, Frank, Charles and Daniel Creaturo, and one sister Lucille Marvola. Friends may call from 10: 00 to 11:00 am, one hour prior to the mass, on Thursday at Christ Our Savior / St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
