Fort Myers – Joann Mary (Colarossi) Guy , 56, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Originally from Struthers, Ohio she moved to Binghamton, NY, then to Perioa, IL and making her home in Southwest Florida for the past twelve years. She graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in June of 1980 and married her loving husband Jerry the following August. They shared a life for nearly 36 years. Joann was working as an administrator at St. Elizabeth Hospital and later took positions in other States. She also volunteered at the Humane Society. Friends will remember her as a caring, compassionate listener, a spiritual woman and a loving mother. Joann cherished her loving family and her dogs. She is survived by her husband Jerry Guy, Sr.; son Jerry Guy, Jr. and his fianceé Thalia and daughter Jessica; two sisters, Louise (Richard) Flesher, Nancy (Jon) Jacubec, and her brother Vince Colarossi.  She leaves her mother-in-law Janice Guy; brother-in-law Barry Guy; a niece, numerous nephews and great nephews, and many cousins and friends. Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Laura Colarossi and father-in-law Norman Guy. The family wishes to thank everyone who showed them care and concern. A memorial service was held on August 6, 2016 at Deer Run Farms Road, Fort Myers, FL 33966 from 2 to 4 p.m. which  was attended by family members and friends.
