Services: A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown.

Visitation: There will be no calling hours.

New Middletown - Janice H. Brady, 83, passed away Monday morning at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana. Janice was born Aug. 12, 1925 in Enon Valley, Pa., a daughter of Gaylord and Blanche Shoemaker Harmon. She came to New Middletown from Petersburg in 1951. She worked as a cashier and meat wrapper for Nemenz and Value King for many years. She was a member of the Bethel United Presbyterian Church in Enon Valley. Janice married Robert V. Brady on Feb. 9, 1945 and he passed away on Feb. 23, 2002. She leaves two sons, Robert V. (Carolyn) Brady, Jr. of Columbiana and David A. (Jami) Brady of Butler, Pa.; two daughters, Cathryn (Tom) Childers of Gainsville, Ga. and Linda Smith of New Middletown; two sisters, Gayle (John) McMillin of New Springfield and Pauline Sutphen of Virginia; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, John G. Harmon.
