Janet M. "Zelda" Zuccaro STRUTHERS – A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016, at 10:00 am                                 at the Christ Our Savior/ St. Nicholas Church in Struthers for Janet M. "Zelda" Zuccaro 73, who passed away on Saturday evening March 19, 2016. Janet was born on December 20, 1942, in Steubenville, OH, and lived in the Youngstown area most of her life. She worked as a legal secretary and a paralegal throughout her career. She was also a member and office volunteer at Christ Our Savior/St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughters, and cuddling with her cats. She loved traveling. Simple day trips or far-away places provided new ways to enjoy life. Her card club friends were a weekly get-a-way for decades. She stayed close to several of her high school friends from Poland. She was a great baker and loved delivering special treats to her family and friends. She was also a very talented painter and famous for giving her "huggaroonies" and "lalapaloozas". Zelda K. Boggs was known for having a 'good time' wherever she went and professed she was always 12 years old. She will be missed by many. Janet leaves one daughter, Gina Burkey of Struthers;  son Anthony (Melissa) Zuccaro of Kingsville, OH;  five grandchildren, Jennifer Roberts and Jessica Burkey both of Florida, Jordan Burkey of Struthers, Andrea and Anthony Zuccaro of Kingsville as well as her two great granddaughters, Mikayla and Kylie of Florida. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Brundage. The family would like to thank the professional care-givers who have helped over the past few years. Your personal care has been appreciated. Friends may call one hour before the mass in church, on Friday, April 1, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be made to Christ Our Savior Parish in her memory. Arrangements handled by the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
