Hubbard – A prayer service will be held Tuesday, January 23, at 6:00 pm at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Janet L. Nail, 87, who passed away at the Hospice House on Friday, January 19.

Janet was born June 19, 1936, in Meadville, PA, a daughter of Clyde and Alese Jones Stallsmith. She married Mark Edward Nail in 1954. Janet worked at Eastco Aluminum in the extrusion plant until she retired. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Janet enjoyed reading books, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Janet leaves six children Edward Nail of Florida, Rusty (Cindy) Nail of Texas, Brian (Diana) Nail of Hubbard, Michael (Kelly ) Nail of Boardman, Cindy Martin of Struthers and Lori (Jeffrey) Nail of Poland, a brother Stanley Stallsmith of Florida, twenty three grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Janet was predeceased by her husband, Mark, who died May 27, 2014, her parents, three grandchildren, a son, Mark Nail, and three daughters Margaret "Bay" Cappelli, Diane Nail and Jeanette Nail.

Friends may call on Tuesday, January 23, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Clemente Funeral Home at 700 Fifth Street in Struthers, 44471, prior to the service.
