DETROIT-James C. (Jimi Jam) Kalaman, 41 of Detroit, MI passed away at the Oakwood Hospital early Thursday morning. James was born on March 23, 1971 in Warren, OH, a son of Joseph F. (Mouse), Jr. and Elizabeth M. Hall Kalaman. He was an area resident most of his life,until moving to Detroit, MI three years ago. James wa a 1989 graduate of Howland High School and earned an Associate Degree in electronics. He was an Electrical Engineer and worked at Extreme Engineering Solutions in Hermitage, PA. before moving. James was an accomplished musician, playing drums and guitar in several well known area bands. He loved to ride motorcycles, enjoyed cars and drag racing, baseball and liked to go fishing. James leaves his father Joseph and step-mother Melissa Hull Kalaman of Boardman; one son James C. Kalaman, Jr. of Warren OH; one daughter Jasmine E. Kalaman of Winston-Salam, NC; one sister Jennifer L. (Stephen) Toth of Poland, OH; two step-brothers Richard A. Thomas, Jr. of Tampa, FL and Nicholas D. Bevilacqua of Boardman; along with a niece and nephew. James was preceded in death by his mother, one brother, Mark Stephen Kalaman; one step-brother George A. Hudzik,III and his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Kalaman, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hall.
