Struthers – Services will be held on Saturday October 26, 2024 at noon at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for James Richard Clyde 76 who passed away at his residence Tuesday morning October 22, 2024.

James was born on February 5, 1948 in Youngstown a son of Samuel H. and Carmella Reitano Clyde.

He lived in the area his whole life and worked at General Fireproofing and retired from Vallourec Star in the melt shop. He was a Struthers Gridiron Club member. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and was a sports fan of the Struthers Wildcats and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed attending any sporting event that his grandchildren participated in.

James married the former Dru  Karrenbrock on November 27, 1971.

Besides his wife he leaves one son Brad J. (Carrie) Clyde of Struthers, OH; one daughter Lena (Bruce) Holloway of  Niles, OH; two brothers Bob (Linda) Clyde and Don (Mary) Clyde both of Struthers; also five  grandchildren Brady and Mia Clyde, and Jake, JD, and Jessica Holloway.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call one and a half hours before the service at the funeral home on Saturday October 26, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.
