CANFIELD-Born to Myron and Pearl Landgraf and raised in Chicago, Jacquelyn Madge Landgraf, was the daughter of a successful and wealthy manufacturer and small business owner. (Jackie's) early memories were filled with stories of her brother, Ted and her sister, Lamar, as well as the tribulations of the Great Depression and Americans united in the cause of winning World War II. Married for 30 years, she devoted her life to raising and enjoying her son, Mowry Young II. Along the way, she added tremendous value and a touch of class to many people's lives. Jackie had a wide array of talents and interests that benefited many, from browning a lemon meringue pie in a wood stove to graduating suma cum laude in art history at age 55. Her family and friends will cherish her many drawings and paintings. Jackie was a committed animal lover and equestrian-proud owner of Appaloosa horses, Mediocre Joe and Mouse, her cat, Little Mouse and 29 raccoons,, she would not stop feeding in her back yard. Her working career focused on small business where she earned the respect and admiration of those who employed her from service as an apartment manager and (Maintenance man) to office manager for Youngstown Plastic Fabrication, where whe worked until age 83. Her later years included the same devotion to family that epitomized her life. Her grandchildren, Katie Young, age 21, Connor Young, age 19 and Norah Young, age 16, were raised with her constant love and attention. Family could always rely on (Mom) and (Grandma) when facing any hardship - she always delivered. Jacquelyn Landgraf passed away quickly and painlessly on June 15th, in the home she built. (We are so proud of her.)
