New Middletown – Services will be on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at
the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown, for Irma M. Kolesar, 94, formerly
of Poland who passed away Friday morning at Masternick Memorial.
Irma was born June 30, 1922 in Campbell, Ohio, a daughter of Michael and Irma Laskay.
She lived in the area her whole life and worked at Youngstown Envelope for many years. She was a past member and Deacon at the Hungarian Presbyterian Church in Youngstown and enjoyed baking and making homemade noodles for the Church Bazaar.
Irma loved her pets and adopted her cat "Sigmund" at the age of 90 and her nephew Jerry will take care of him after her passing.
Irma married Frank Kolesar, Sr. in New York City in 1945 and he passed away in 1984.
She leaves two step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one step-son Frank Kolesar, Jr.; four brothers, Emery, Carl, Mike, and Frank Laskay; two sisters, Esther E. Mihalcak and Betty Yancurak; one step-grandchild and one step great-grandchild.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley and the staff of Masternick Memorial for the care they showed Irma.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
