Visitation: Visitation was from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown, one half hour before the mass.

NORTH LIMA - Helen Nolan, 97, of North Lima formerly of Highland California passed away Saturday evening at the Assumption Village. Helen was born September 28, 1913 in Youngstown, a daughter of Constantine and Agnes Sarzyniak Christides. She had lived in California from 1944-2007 before returning to the Youngstown area. Helen had worked for the Norton Air Force Base as a civilian fabric worker doing parachute repairs. She was a graduate of South High School in Youngstown and had been a member of St. Adelaides Catholic Church in California for many years. Her husband, Raymond, whom she married in 1944 died January 9, 1993. Besides her sister, Mary Dixon of North Lima, she leaves several nieces and nephews. A sister, Elizabeth Kobus and two brothers, Alex and Walter Christides are deceased.
