AUSTINTOWN - Hazel V. Gray, 90, of Austintown, passed away Monday evening at the Meridian Arms Living Center. Hazel was born on March 11, 1920 in Richwood, West VA, a daughter of Leslie H. and Nora Smith Rucker. She came to this area in 1955 and worked in retail for many years. She was an avid reader and gardner. Hazel was a former member of the Bible Baptist Temple in Campbell, OH. Hazel married Walter S. Gray on april 26, 1946 and he passed away on January 15, 1980. She leaves behind two sons, Terrance S. (Augustine) Gray of Youngstown, OH and W. Darrell Gray of Los Angeles, CA; one daughter, H. Lynn (John) Robertson, Austintown, OH and thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preced in death by her parents, husband, one step-son, Hubert L. Gray, one step-daughter, Virginia Hager; three brothers, Paul Rucker, Leslie Jim Rucker and Kenneth Rucker and three sisters, Lona Alkire, Pearl Cotton and Erma.
