Struthers – Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 A. M. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Grace V. Root, 95, who passed away at her residence on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 6, 2016. Grace was born on April 26, 1921, in Cleveland, a daughter of George Dewey and Florence Kelly Robinson. She lived in the area her whole life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, and she loved children and baking. Grace married Ivan L. Root in February of 1946, and he passed away in December of 2005. She leaves one son, Thomas E. (Corie) Root of Ypsilanti, Michigan; one grandson Thomas E. (Antoinette) Root, Jr.; and two great grandchildren Ian and Henry Root. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sisters, Mary Robinson and Sarah "Sally" Robinson.
