Boardman – Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Gladys L. DeGenaro, whom God called home on Monday March 10, 2014. Gladys was born on May 14, 1931, a daughter of William and Lucille Waltman. She worked for several years at various jobs, retiring from J.J.C. She decided to work part-time after retirement, and began at the YMCA. During her years of employment, she made many friends, with whom she spoke to on a weekly basis. Gladys will be remembered and missed by her daughter Janet DeGenaro, with whom she shared her home and her daughter Judy DeGenaro. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Gladys Jean Gray, her son-in-law Pat Gray and her husband John. Extended thanks go out to Community Home Health, All Care Transport, her aide Sheryl, caregivers Rose and Holly, and especially Dr. Glenn Novak for all the care and kindness she received. "Mom, I will love you all the days of my life. I know that you and dad are reunited again and in a wonderful place granted to you both by God. Friends may call two hours before the service, at the funeral home, from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m.
