Struthers – Private funeral services were held Saturday at Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Gladys Boosinger, 89, who died Thursday. Gladys was born August 8, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Peter and Mary Molson Mekulak. She moved to Dayton, Florida in 1940 and to the area in 1942.  She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War and at the Pentagon. She married Edward E. Boosinger July 12, 1952.  Gladys worked at General Fireproofing and was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.  She was an avid bowler and a Cleveland Indians and Browns fans. Gladys leaves her son, Garry E. (Kathy) Boosinger of Poland and two grandchildren Megan and Brittany Boosinger. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edward, who died December 19, 2004.
