George H. Engleman, Jr., 68, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family in his home on Sunday, May 29, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pat (Shandor) Engleman and his children, Dan Engleman of Boardman and Tim and his wife Melissa Engleman of Weddington, NC. George was born on November 10, 1947, in Youngstown the son of George and Margaret Engleman.  He was preceded in death by his parents. George graduated from Springfield Local High School in 1967. He served in the US Army from 1968 to 1970 including a six month tour of duty in Vietnam.  George was employed by AFC Corp., R&M Fluid Power and retired in 2007 from Stericycle Inc., of Warren, OH. George loved people and was a friend to anyone in need.  His love for people could be seen through times he spent with friends on trips to Las Vegas and Canada for family reunions.  The highlight of his life was his grandchildren Tyler, Kailey, Logan, Mason, and Andon, they were especially loved by "Pappy". In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Zion Lutheran Church in New Middletown  of which he was a member. Visitation will be held at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown on Wednesday, June 1, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 2, at 11:00 at the Zion Lutheran Church   in New Middletown, with visitation one hour prior to services in church.
