YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home for Genevieve Rudie, 73, of Youngstown, who passed away Friday at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio. Genevieve was born on January 3, 1936 in Ernst, PA., a daughter of James J. and Mary Seman Garsick. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, cooking, sewing and ceramics. She was a member of Heritage Presbyterian Church in Poland. Genevieve married David Lee Rudie on November 3, 1951; he passed away on Oct. 28, 1974. She leaves behind two sons; David Lee Rudie, Jr. and James E. Rudie, both of Youngstown; two daughters; Genevieve Marie Dunn of Waco, TX, Amanda Anna Doyle of Youngstown; one sister, Mariana Betsa of Chippewa, WI.; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death one daughter Mariann Lynn Abrahm and one brother James Emery Garsick.
