New Springfield- Private services were held at Clemente Funeral Home honoring Gary E. Jones,66, who passed away September 30,2026.

Gary was born May 17,1960, in Youngstown  a son of John and Pat (Smith) Jones. He was a 1978 graduate of Springfield Local High School and drove tractor trailer and treasured his days off. He enjoyed watching the Browns, Ohio State and the Indians play ball. Gary loved to fish, take pontoon rides and being with his friends. He was kind hearted when it came to animals and adored the dogs that he and his wife, Michelle, had. He was always available to help someone with a project and loved being outdoors. He had numerous friends and was loved by all.

Gary will be rememdered and missed by his wife, Michelle (Cummings) Jones, whom he married in 1987, his brother Rick (Peggy) Jones of New Springfield, his sister Maureen (Lenny) Best of Portage, MI, his brother Dave (Sheri) Jones of Thousand Oaks, CA, his brother-in-law Frank (Susan) Dixon of Youngstown, his brother-in-law Marty (Regina) Cumming of Evansville,IN, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Dixon.
