Masury - Frank Raymond DiPasqua, 85, died Sunday, at Sharon Regional Hospital. Frank was born October 6, 1923 in Youngstown, a son of John and Theresa Porfilio DiPasqua. Frank was raised and resided in Youngstown graduating from East High School in 1941. He attended Youngstown College and Penn Ohio College specializing in accounting. He joined the U.S. Navy on June 2, 1943. He served during WWII on the USS White Plains and was discharged September 14 1945. He worked at the Youngstown Sheet and Tube retiring in 1974. He was an avid ballroom dancer, winning numberous competitions at the Idora Park Ballroom, Point View Ballroom and the Avon Oaks Ballroom. Later in life he enjoyed playing the lottery and waiting to hit the big one. Frank leaves behind his brother Leo (Judy) DiPasqua and sister Rose Marie Mamusia, both of Henderson, NV, his daughter Rita Mae (Frank) Townsley of Las Vegas, NV, four nieces Linda M. (John) Greene of West Middlesex, PA, Damencele DiPasqua (Steve) Gradyan of Henderson, NV, Nancy (R.L.) Reynolds of Chimney Rock, CO, and Gina Mamusia of Henderson, NV and two nephews, G. James (Sara) Sylvester of Kennett Square, PA and Sal Mamusia of Las Vegas, NV. Frank also leaves great nieces and nephews Melissa Sylvester of Newburyport, MA, Laura and Tyler Schiller of Henderson, NV, and Gannon and Grayson Gradyan of Henderson, NV. Frank was preceded in death by his father who died in 1962 and his mother who died in 1998, his sister and her husband, Thelma and Guido Sylvester. Frank was cared for by his sister Thelma, prior to her death, and was then surrounded by the love of his niece Linda and her husband John. Frank's family would like to extend special gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Michael Kachmer. Through years of care and compassion, he and his staff immensely enriched Frank's quality of life.
