Services: Services will be held on Friday at Clemente Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. and at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish/Holy Trinity Church, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

STRUTHERS-Frances J. Simboli, 92, passed away on Monday evening at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Frances was born March 18, 1920, in Hillsville, PA, a daughter of Anthony and Maria Polito Feo and came to Struthers in 1941. She was a telephone operator during World War II, was a shoe salesperson, and worked at the Pepsi Cola Company. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. Frances enjoyed going to auction sales and flea markets. She was always looking for the perfect deal. Frances was a dedicaed and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She achieved much joy in raising her family because it kept her youthful. She enjoyed cooking and baking, winning numerous ribbons at the Canfield Fair for her submissions. She was known as the (Cookie Lady) and her most enjoyable time was spent in the kitchen, feeding her family and friends. Frances married Pat Simboli on November 8, 1941 and he passed away August 28, 2010. She leaves one son, Patrick (Margaret) Simboli of North Lima; two daughters, Karen Clemente of Struthers and Dr. Julianne (Mark) DeMartino of Poland; seven grandchildren, Dr. Don (Annette) Clemente of Troy,MI, Tina (Jeff) Ickes of Greenford, April (Larry) Sullin of Medina, Tony (Leighann) Simboli of New Springfield, Francine Smith of Austintown, Mark DeMartino and Theresanne DeMartino, both of Poland; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Pat; parents; seven sisters, Anne Krake, Clara Benson, Elizabeth Varacall, Jennie Romeo, Mary Portlese, Frances Feo and Rose Romeo; and five brothers, Rocco, Frank, Joe, Guy and Joseph Feo.
