New Middletown – A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at
St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New Middletown, with visitation from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m., one hour prior to the mass, for Frances E. Hutchko, 81, of New Middletown, OH, who passed away on Monday at the Cleveland Clinic.
Frances was born on March 10, 1933 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of John S. and Christina Franko.
She married Thomas Hutchko on February 3, 1951.
Frances graduated from Springfield Local High School in 1950. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, and was the 1945 May Queen of the Youngstown Diocese Frances served 30 years as precinct Chairman of Mahoning County and she belonged to Sokols since 1949, specifically the Catholic Ladies Lodge. She was a charter member of St. Paul's, the SNPJ, past president of the Infant Jesus of Prague at St. Pauls, it's Altar and Rosary Society and was a life member of the Bessemer Croation Club.
Besides her husband Tom, Frances leaves her brother John (Barbara) Franko of Lorain, OH; son-in-law Frank Duraney of New Middletown, OH; and grandson's Frank "Stretch" Duraney, Richard "Boomer" Duraney, Drew "Scooter" Duraney and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Roseanne Duraney; a brother Steve Franko; sisters Christina Franko, Mary Theresa Pellice, Dorothy Lyda and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown.
