Struthers - Minnie (Filomena) Edwards 103 passed away on Wednesday evening   August 5, 2025 and

private funeral services were held on August 10, 2025 at the Clemente Funeral  Home in Struthers.

Mrs. Edwards was born February 1, 1922 in Struthers, a daughter of Joseph and Anna Marie Pacifico Corvino.

She was a 1940 graduate of Struthers High School and retired from General Electric Co. in 1982.

She also worked for General   Fire Proofing as a Riveter during the war.

Her beloved husband, Owen Paul Edwards whom she married on September 24, 1975, passed away June 3, 2008.

Mrs. Edwards was a member of Christ Our Savior (St. Nicholas Church), its Altar Rosary Society, K of C ladies,St. Nicholas Seniors, and St. Anthony Auxiliary. She also enjoyed her card clubs with neighbors and friends.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband and parents,  also six sisters, Mabel Guerriero, Jennie Vespasian, Rose Rouzzo, Christine Salpietro, Theresa Colla, Josephine DeMain,  and two brothers Anthony and James Corvino.

Surviving Minnie are four generations of nieces  and nephews. She kept track of  them in her geneology book and was very proud of them. Respecting Minnie's wishes   there were no calling hours.
