Services: Services will be on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at the St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.
Visitation: Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
Struthers-Felix A. Miley, 88, passed away Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center in Youngstown. Felix was born on March 30, 1920 on the East Side of Youngstown, a son of Dominic and Dora Fortunato Miely. He lived in the area his whole life. He graduated from East High School in 1939. He worked in the grocery business as a meat manager in numerous major food chains. In later years, he worked for J & J Gardens and then Country Gardens. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Church, and was an Army veteran of WWII, having landed in Normandy on Utah Beach, and served in France and Belgium. Felix married the former Mary Louis Kotasek Skoloda on April 17, 1948. Besides his wife of 60 years, he leaves one son, Felix D. (Cynthia) Miely of Hermitage, Pa., and one daughter, Janine M. Miely of Boardman; two brothers, Robert Miely of Florida and William Miely of Columbus; two sisters, Helen Delfrano of Kentucky and Jean Beraduce of Florida, five grandchildren, Danielle, Machele, Josh, Ryan and Jared; and three great- grandchildren, Michael, Dominic and Dakota. Felix was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Margaret Wilhelm and Ann Smith; and one great-grandchild, Dalton.
