New Middletown – Services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of New Springfield for Evelyn S. Seidner, 87, who died Sunday at Masternick Memorial. Evelyn was born May 10, 1927, in Poland, Ohio, a daughter of Louis and Frances Busach Poldergotch. She married Charles O. Seidner on February 9, 1945, and lived in the area her whole life. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of New Springfield, American Legion #565 of Boardman, SNPJ of Enon Valley, PA, AARP #3105 of Struthers, and the Petersburg Historical Society. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed cooking and embroidering. Evelyn leaves three daughters Coral (Keith) Musguire of Poland, Donna Koonse of Canfield, and Charlotte (Walter) Jackson of Youngstown, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, who died April 8, 2003, a daughter Shirley Bokanovich, a brother Paul Poldergotch and seven sisters. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Masternick Memorial for their care and compassion for Evelyn. Friends may call on Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown and on Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of New Springfield.
