BOARDMAN - Services will be held on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Evaline A. Schmidt, 83, who passed away on Thursday morning at home. Evaline was born on May 12, 1932 in Struthers, OH, a daughter of William and Myrtle Davis Grapes. She moved to Florida in 1983 and came back to Ohio in 2011. She was a homemaker and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Struthers. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. Evaline married Edward Edward E. Schmidt on February 9, 1951 and he passed away on February 10, 1997. Evaline leaves four daughters Diane M. Evans of Columbus, OH., Connie J. (Dennis) Glozer. Joan Bodema-Mayer of Butler, PA, and Tammie (Greggory) Wormley of Struthers, OH. She leaves 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Evaline was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one son, William E. Schmidt; three brothers, Robert, Charles and Eugene Grapes; five sisters Mary Shevetz, Clara Mauerman, Gladys Schweitzer, Sarah Bott and Ruth Davis and one great-grandchild. Friends may call two hours before the service at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
