Services: Services will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers and 10:00 a.m. at St. Lucy Church in Campbell.
Visitation: Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
STRUTHERS - Eva D'Amato, 84, of Maplecrest Nursing Home, formerly of Campbell, passed away at the home on Tuesday morning. Eva was born on November 10, 1925 in Sulmona, Italy, a daughter of Santo and Luisa Centofanti Marcucci and came to the United States in 1956. Eva was a custodial aide for the Campbell School System. She was a member of St. Lucy Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and was also a past member of the Sulmona Valley Club in Struthers. Eva married Vincenzo D'Amato in 1946 and he passed away in 1972. She leaves four sons, Ennio (Linda) D'Amato of Greensboro, N.C., Arthur D'Amato of Campbell, Vince (Renee) D'Amato of Boardman and Philip (Irene) D'Amato of Lowellville; one daughter, Mary Lou (Bryan) Woods of Struthers; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Sam D'Amato.
