Services: Services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers and a Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Boardman on Monday, June 18, 2012.

Visitation: Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

YOUNGSTOWN-Elvera G. Martino, 86, passed away Friday morning at Hospice Houes. Elvera was born September 2, 1925 in Struthers, Ohio, a daughter of Antonio and Mabel Corvino Guerriero. She lived in the area her entire life and was a legal secretary before becoming a homemaker. She was a 1943 graduate of Struthers High School and a graduate of Youngstown College in Business. She was a former member of the Latin Culture Club, a charter member of St. Luke Church in Boardman and she completed her renewal at St. Luke's. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved to cook for them, expecially Christmas Eve dinner. Elvera leaves one daughter, Brenda (Ron) D'Apolito of Poland; two sons, Ron (Nancy) Martino of Poland and Ray (Teresa) Martino of Columbus; one brother Frank Guerriero of Struthers; two sisters, Mary (Sam) Frasco of Liberty and Jeannie (Mike) FIsher of Strongsville; five grandchildren, Ronnie, Molly, Kelly Martino, Anthony Martino and Jessica D'Apolito. She also leaves an aunt, Minnie Edwards of Struthers and a sister-in-law, Pat Guerriero of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents;one brother, Joseph Guerriero; and one grandchild, Kara Martino.
