Services: A mass of chrisitan burial will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.

Visitation: There will be no calling hours.

YOUNGSTOWN - Edward Diorio, Jr., 94, of Youngstown passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus. Edward was born July 31, 1916 in Youngstown, a son of Edward and Jennie Delliquadri Diorio, Sr. He served in the Army in Manila, Philippines and Okayama, Japan. He worked at John Diorio Construction for many years, retiring in 1980. He was a former member of St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, charming personality and free spirit. The true joys of his life were his grandchildren. Edward leaves his two sons, Joe Diorio of Youngstown and Edmund (Sonya) Diorio of Georgia, two grandchildren, Dennis and David Moore, one brother Bill of Florida and one sister Loretta of Poland. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Jean Moore and one great grandchild, Stephanie.
