STRUTHERS - Edith (Edie) L. Christy passed away on Saturday at St. Elizabeth Boardman,Ohio. She was born April 4, 1919 in Youngstown, a daughter of Myron and Belle Moore Burns. Edith attended Struthers High School and married her beloved husband Kenneth Devere Christy on April 4, 1941. She was a homemaker and had a great love for baking and people. She enjoyed the art of baking and was a master of it. She was a member of the Struthers United Methodist Church. Edith leaves her son Robert (Connie) Christy of Boardman, a daughter Susan (Jack) Rose of Athens, GA, a step sister Patricia Burns of Struthers, two grandchildren Terry and Brian Rose and one great grandchild, Taylor. Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, who died March 18, 1990, and a brother David Burns.
