Poland - Funeral services will be on Thursday December 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Douglas R. Gue, 68, who passed away at home on Thursday morning December 19, 2024.

Douglas was born on October 1, 1956 in Brownsville, PA, a son of the late Douglas

and Wilburta Guseman Gue.

He lived in the area his whole life and began working at LTV Steel, Republic Engineering and retired from the Independent Business Supply Company.

Douglas had a passion for riding his Harley and cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers. He was a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians, always rooting for his teams. He took great pride in maintaining his yard and keeping his cars spotless. But above all, Douglas cherished spending time with his family and grandchildren, creating memories that will last with them forever.

Douglas leaves behind his wife Dawna, two daughters Tracy (Logan} Reinard of Cortland, OH and Katie (Robbie) Shape of Struthers, OH; a brother Jeff Gue of Struthers and two grandchildren Knox and Camille.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Nancy Rowe.

Friends may call two hours before the service at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
