STRUTHERS-Donna Elaine Ragan, 76, was born March 18, 1937 in Struthers, a daughter of Ralph and Anna Timarko Trimacco. She graduated from Struthers High School in 1955. Donna had worked as a telephone switchboard operator for 4 and 1/2 years, employed by Ohio Bell. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish, Holy Trinity Church in Struthers. She married her beloved husband Richard (Dick) Ragan on November 15, 1957, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2009. Donna was a kind and gentle person. She loved her family and had many holiday get togethers, as she was an excellent cook and baker. She was noted for many family favorites. She enjoyed shopping and always, ever so generously, gave to her family unconditionally. Donna adored her granddaughter, Dana Dawn, whom she and her husband Richard raised. They shared a special bond as close as a mother and daughter relationship. Dana was her caregiver to the end. Also the light of her life was her great granddaughter, Athena. Donna leaves a son Richard (Monica) Ragan of Lowellville. She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories and will be sadly missed by her granddaughters, Dana Dawn Ragan (Yiannis Skoutelis); a great granddaughter, Athena Skoutelis; a sister Bernice (Jerry) DiMarzio of Struthers; two nephews, Robert and Daniel Winkle. Greeting her in heaven will be her parents, her husband, two sons Thomas and David Ragan, a sister Judith Trimacco, a brother, Gabriel Trimacco and a grandson Joseph.
