NEW MIDDLETOWN - Donald J. Sabol, 76, of New Middletown passed away Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. Donald was born August 8, 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of John and Susan Sabol. He was a Sgt. in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, in which he served from January 23, 1951 to January 22, 1954. He married Theresa G. Klonowski on May 22, 1954 and worked as an electrician. Donald was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church. Donald leaves three sons, Kenneth of Pittsburgh, Donald (Teresa) of Pittsburgh, Robert (Tracy) of Poland, OH; two daughters, Theresa M. (Charles) Darwin of Jacksonville, FL, and Donna Sabol of Akron and her fiancee David Collins; two sisters, Alberta Ziolkowski of Pittsburgh, Mary Ruschak of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Corrine, Nicole, Jesse, Lacey, Janelle, Melissa and Danielle and one great-granddaughter Halei. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa, who died October 16, 2004 and one brother, John Sabol.
