New Middletown - A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, January 24, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New Middletown at 11:00 am for Dolores "Laurie" A. Hill who died, Thursday, January 16, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Laurie was born June 26, 1931, in Donora, Pennsylvania, a daughter of John and Susan Kopsic. She married James B. Hill, October 21, 1950 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2006. Laurie enjoyed her baseball as she was an avid Yankees fan. She loved to crochet, and read. Laurie was also a devout Catholic, but perhaps most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandkids, as her family meant everything to her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Joanne "Jody" Barnhart (Jerry) of Braselton, Georgia, her son, James B. Hill Jr. (Terry) of Snellville, Georgia, her daughter, Jeannine "Jeannie" Rankin (Daniel Mohn) of New Middletown, her grandchildren, Jerry Jr., Jaime (Jeremy), Samantha (Jake), Brandon (Emily), Haylie (Destiny) and Kaitlyn, her great grandchildren, Jenna, Joel, Brandon Jr. and Jackson, a brother in law, Bo Kana of Canfield and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James, brothers John and Charles as well as, sisters MaryAnn and Norma.

Friends may call on Friday, January 24, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Clemente Funeral Home at 10170 Main Street in New Middletown, 44442.
