NEW MIDDLETOWN - Dennis A. Tych, 66, passed away on Monday. Dennis was born in Youngstown on February 2, 1945, a son of Michael T. and Pearl S. Velichko Tych, Jr. He worked as a lathe operator at Republic Steel and then worked at United Engineering, from where he retired. He married Ann Marie Arena on October 14, 1988. He was a former member of the Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church in Youngstown. He loved gardening, fishing and playing golf with his Jednota golf league and was a member of the Catholic Sokols. Dennis leaves his wife, Ann Marie; two stepsons, Robert (Kristy) Navarro of Columbus and Brian Navarro of Akron; one stepdaughter, Bernadette Navarro of Detroit; one brother, Michael Tych III of New Middletown; and two step grandchildren, Vincent and Nicholas. Dennis was preceded in death of his parents.
