Services: Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown.

Visitation: Friends may call on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown and on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., one hour prior to service, at the funeral home in New Middletown.

POLAND - David R. Deemer, 64, passed away on Tuesday evening at Hospice House in Poland. He was born on July 27, 1946 in Youngstown, a son of Rex Adrian and Sarah Orr Deemer. He was retired from General Motors after 31 years in the Paint Dept. and served in the United States Navy. David was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, a member of the VFW Triangle Post No. 2799 in New Springfield and a member of the Moose Lodge in East Palestine. He leaves behind his wife, the former Vicki Henry, whom he married on Feb. 11, 1967; one son, Richard (Stacey) Deemer of Poland; one daugher, Tonya (David) Dunn of New Middletown; four brothers, Rex Deemer of Texas, Larry Deemer of Columbus, Bob Deemer of Texas, Gary Deemer of Brookfield; four sisters, Carol McGinnis of Boardman, Sally Ortiz of Arizona, Pat Treharn of Youngstown, Arlene Patterson of New Middletown; and six grandchildren, Adrianna Deemer, Levi Dunn, Taylor Deemer, Ally Deemer, Torrie Dunn and Cullen Dunn. David was preceded in death by his parents.
