Youngstown – Dale A. Riebe, 75, of Youngstown, passed away on Thursday morning at Hospice House, after an illness.
Dale was born on September 25, 1939, in Youngstown, a son of Norman C. and Pearl M. Teter Riebe.
He lived in the area most of his life and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a cement mason for 55 years, retiring form Local #179. He was also the owner of the Locust Lane Kamp Ground in Kingsville, Ohio. Dale was of the Lutheran Faith.
Dale married the former Loretta D. Goodwin on August 2, 1991.
Besides his wife, he leaves one son, James A. (Sally) Riebe of Middlefield, OH; one step-son John E. (Pearl) Peterson of North Carolina; one daughter, Linda S. (Scott) Simion of Howland, OH; four step-daughters, Donna J. (Paul) Popovich of Boardman, OH; , Darla R. (Ed) Smith of Poland, OH, Dottie M. (Ken) Earwood of North Carolina, Doreen S. (Dan) Sahli of Canfield, OH; one brother Ronald Riebe of Southington, OH; eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
As per Dale's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
