Services: Services will be held on Friday at noon at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call two hours before the service at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

STRUTHERS-Cora Hope Sokol, 83, passed away at Hospice House in Poland early Tuesday morning. Cora was born on November 11, 1928, in Struthers, a daughter of Charles E. and Helen M. Smiley Walter. She lived in the area her whole life and worked at the Youngstown Orthopedic Hospital (Cafaro) in the gift shop for many years. She was of the Methodist Faith and belonged to the Youngstown Orthopedic Hospital Guild. She was also a member of the Holy Family Church Senior Citizens in Poland. Cora married Andrew S. Sokol on Sept. 9, 1948 and he passed away on June 25, 1987. She leaves one son, Steven A. (Lisa) Sokol of Hubbard; two daughters, Helen L. (Gary) Rodik of Struthers and Lois Warren of Youngstown; five grandchildren, Randy, Tim, Craig (Emily) Rodik and Andrew and Robby Sokol. Cora was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, LeRoy McLure; two sisters, Lena Grinnen and Shirley Walkama; and a son-in-law, Gregory Warren.
