Struthers – Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Clemente Funeral Home, 700 Fifth Street, Struthers, Ohio for Christina Helen Rudy, 65, who passed away Monday morning, August 29, 2016 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.  She fought hard for over 30 years because of her strong will, determination, and great love for her grandchildren. Christina was born April 18, 1951 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas and Beatrice Duggan. Christina was a 1969 graduate of Cardinal Mooney. She attended Youngstown State University, worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital for 18 years, and was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma National Sorority.   She was also elected to be the Sweetheart and Little Sister of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Robert, Sr. whom she married on August 30, 1985; her children David (Mandi) Schialdone of Boardman, Joseph (Heidi) Schialdone of Canfield, Robert, Jr. (Michelle) Rudy of Rock Hill, SC, Kristopher (Tracy) Rudy of Cape Coral, FL; one brother Patrick Duggan of Youngstown; three sisters Margee (Dr. Douglas) Jones of Wellston, OH, Michelle (Ronald) Mogolich of Idaho, Mary (Patrick) DeLisio of Struthers, and 11 grandchildren, Dylan, Elli, Torrence, Brandon, Teagan, Hailey, Logan, Zachary, Cody, Courtney, and Kyle; and her beloved puppy, Tex. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  She also enjoyed going to bingo, playing scratch-offs, watching sports, and cheering for her favorite team the Green Bay Packers. Christina was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Beatrice, and her sister Amy Duggan. The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Clemente Funeral Home and will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home in Struthers.
