Services: Services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home

STRUTHERS - Catherine (Kay) Phillips, 84, passed away Tuesday morning at the Hospice House in Poland. Kay was a homemaker who always had a happy personality and smile, and she loved to tell jokes. She was a member of St. Nicholas church and helped with it's festival. She was past-president of the Italian Mother's Club, a member of the Wednesday morning Homemaker's Bowling League, volunteered at Tod Children's Hospital and loved to go down south to Mountaineer. She married John J. Phillips on June 26, 1948 and he passed away on February 2, 2000. She leaves behind two daughters, Linda (Philip) Zukowsky of Canfield, Sandi Phillips of Struthers, four grandchildren, Gianna Gentile, Kaden Maynard, Lilly Maynard, Bailey Rubosky, Kellan Rubosky and Gabriella Pinedale Zukowsky. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Michael, Paul and thomas Matak; and three sisters, Ann Leone, Mary Boyarko and Barbara Leone The family would like to thank the caregivers at Hospice House and all her friends, Bill Zaluski, Marie D'Altorio and Janet Gerlach.
