Services: Services will be on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

NORTH LIMA - Catherine A. (Kay) Papalia, 86, of Glen Ellen Assisted Living, formerly of Struthers, passed away on Thursday afternoon at Glen Ellen. Catherine was born on August 30, 1924 in Canton, Ohio, a daughter of Joseph and Raphaela Demasi Mongiardo. She was a life long resident of Struthers and worked at the J C Penney Company as a drapery consultant for 26 years, retiring in 1995. Catherine was a member of St. Nicholas Church and it's Altar and Rosary Society. She volunteered for the Red Cross Blood Drives and was a member of Struthers Senior Citizens. Catherine married Anthony P. Papalia, Sr. on August 31, 1945 and he passed away on January 6, 1979. She leaves one son, Anthony P. Papalia, Jr. of Boardman, OH; one daughter, Debra A. (Ron) Hammel of Cranberry Township, PA and four grandchildren, Brian, Zack, Holly and Laura. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son Michael J. Papalia, three brothers, Carl, Frank and James Mongiardo and one sister, Yolanda Pelyak.
