BOARDMAN - Catherine DeGenova, 90, passed away Saturday April 28, 2012 at Valley Renaissance Nursing Home. Catherine was born Sept. 7, 1921 in Hillsville, PA, a daughter of Mike and Marie Fusco Maravola. She married Elmer DeGenova October 11, 1947 and he passed away August 31, 2004. Catherine leaves her two sons, Armand DeGenova of LeHigh Acres, Fla. and David DeGenova of Austintown and four grandchildren, Joel, Michael, Amanda and Jeff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; two brothers, Johnny and Andy Maravola and two sisters, Rose Messina and Angeline Burnett.
