Services: Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Clemente Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends my call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Struthers - Carolyne S. Ramun, 56, died Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Carolyne was born Dec. 7, 1951 in Youngstown, a daughter of Sam and Ann Leschinsky Ramun and was a lifelong area resident. She had worked as an office manager and bookkeeper for her father's business, Empire Auto Wrecking for several years. She also worked in the same position for several area auto dealers. Carolyne had been a very dedicated member of the church, where she had taught catechism for 27 years. She had also been a lector a Eucharistic minister, and a member of the choir. She had volunteered as a festival worker for the annual church event. She was a 1970 graduate of Struthers High School. She will be sadly missed by her family. She leaves her mother, Ann, with whom she made her home; two sisters, Ann Marie (Richard) Krzys of Lordstown Village and Mary (Stephan) Soltis of Campbell; a brother, Frank (Sandra) Ramun of Campbell; seven nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
