Poland – Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Carolyn Gayle Butch who died Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Hospice House. Gayle was born September 24, 1939, in Poland, OH, a daughter of Vernon and Agnes Hackett Hoffman.  She graduated from Lowellville High School and married Albert Butch on September 7, 1962.  She was a member of the Mahoning Presbyterian Church. Gayle loved the art of drawing and painting and enjoyed baking. She was known for her fabulous clothespin cookies. Gayle leaves her husband, Albert, three sons Charles (Annie) Butch of Mahoning County, Albert (Susan) Butch of Edinburg, and Doug (Rose) Butch of Lowellville, one brother Tom (Saundy) Hoffman of Poland, and eight grandchildren Jordan, Brandon, Mason, Travis, Nicholas, Noah, Allison and Emily. Gayle was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Hoffman. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
