Services: A mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday morning, Jan. 15, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church in Struthers

Visitation: Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home, one hour prior to the mass.

STRUTHERS-Caroline Jenny (Jane) Slike, 94, of Greenbriar Assisted Living, Boardman, passed away in peace Thursday, January 10, 2013. Jane was born July 10, 1918 in Hillsville, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Varacelli Startari. She married John S. Slike on May 17, 1958 and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1990. Jane was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church. She enjoyed bingo and having visits from her many grandchildren and great grand-children. Survivors include her son, John (Betty) Slike of Struthers; daughters, Norma (Jack) Vilsack of Texas and Sandy (Leonard) Koker of Austintown; and sisters, Helen Sackin and Margaret Kelty of Hillsville. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dorothy Kelly; sisters, Rose Petrelli, Virginia Yeropoli, Josephine Relo, Theresa Nicolis, Clara Gentile, Anna Startari and an infant sister. Jane and her beautiful warm smile will be missed by all.
