Visitation: Friends may call on Thursday, one hour prior to the service, at the Lake Park Cemetery Chapel, form 1 to 2 p.m.

POLAND - Caroline Hake, 76, passed away on Monday at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Caroline was born on April 26, 1937, in Boardman, a daughter of Norman and Caroline Henerfo. She graduated from Boardman High School and married Harold Hake on November 18, 1978. She owned and operated the Putt Putt golf course on South Avenue in Boardman for 40 years. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran ELCA for over 60 years, the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Springfield Triangle Post No.2799, CHHA (The Canfield Harness Horse Association)for 26 years and was a previous secretary for the organization. She was also a member of Mended Hearts. Caroline leaves her husband, Harold; two stepsons, Jamie (Dee Dee) Hake of Largo, Fla. and Rick (Cheri) Hake of Howland; two stepdaughters, Loraine (Bob) Bznak of Vienna and Cheryl Hake of Hubbard; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
