New Springfield –A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, at 11:00 am at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Petersburg for Carol A. Ball, 78, who passed away Thursday evening, September 18, at her residence.

Carol was born May 7, 1947, in Youngstown a daughter of Roy and Anna Raynes Gibson. She lived in the area her whole life and worked as a secretary and accountant for Kessler Products and Penn Ohio Plaza. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. She found great fulfillment in taking care of her family and being a compassionate care giver.

Carol married Terry Ball, Sr. January 2, 1965. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2021. She leaves her son Terry Ball, Jr., a daughter Darla Ball (Dan Brafford) and a sister Thelma Akins all of New Springfield, and three grandchildren Kaylee, Terry III, and Paitlynn.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call on Monday, September 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the St. John's Lutheran Church at 14394 Youngstown - Pittsburgh Road in Petersburg, OH, 44454.
